Meet Dan
Chief Data Officer, Young Democrats of America · Candidate for Executive Vice President
I am Dan, and people know me as Dan the Democrat. I am a data person and an organizer, and I believe those two things belong together. As the Chief Data Officer of the Young Democrats of America, I build the maps, models, and turnout tools that help organizers understand the ground they are fighting on.
I got into this work because I kept seeing young Democrats organize their hearts out with almost none of the data the other side takes for granted. I taught myself to close that gap — precinct by precinct, county by county — and I have spent this cycle turning that into tools chapters can actually use.
Now I am running for Executive Vice President of YDA because I want every chapter — not just the big, well-funded ones — to have that capacity. Young Democrats should organize everywhere and lead with data, and I want to help build the institution that makes that possible.
[Dan — add the personal parts here: where you are from, your day-to-day, what led you to the party, and a photo. This draft is true but general; your own story will carry it further.]
